Introduction: Calcium hydroxide paste is a ready-to-use paste with a creamy appearance as a temporary filler for infected canals. Due to the presence of barium sulfate, the product is radiopaque and the endonic alkali property (pH=12.5) guarantees the antimicrobial and antibacterial properties of the product.
